In human hearts
the highest forces pulse

In human hearts there pulse
The highest forces of the earth
In human beings live
Powers of the realm of soul
And human striving‘s promise
Are aims in spirit land
The human I itself,
is spirit in the
realms of spirit
And that which names itself
As I in man
Is only image of itself.
And so one hopes to strive
as man again and yet again
and firmly to oneself does speak
on days of turning points in life.
