IN shimmering
of dim, enchanted dreaming,
A shining veil
of light enwraps me round.
Behind it
Angels work, whose mighty streaming
Sends strength
to me and gives my feet firm ground.
I love the
sun’s warm light, so gold and fair.
I love the
sun’s bright rays which burst and sparkle everywhere,
As light and
shadow weave amidst the forest, greenly gleaming.
